FemTechies USA is pleased to introduce the first summer session of the FemTech™ Summer Series in August 2002. This all expenses-paid program is intended for high school juniors and seniors and college freshman who would like to learn more about careers in technology and to network with other students and professionals who are also interested in or participating in this field. The Series will continue for one week at a selected college campus in the United States. Some students may be eligible for college credit at an accredited institution after completing the Summer Series. Contact info@femtechies.com for more information.

What are the program requirements?

The program is open to student members who may be interested in learning more about technology, including careers in computers, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and high-energy physics. Participation is limited to those students who maintain an overall grade average of 75% and are able to submit at least one letter of recommendation from a science or math teach/professor and/or a guidance counselor/student advisor. Those students who are able to demonstrate initiative, interest, and promise and provide us with more than one letter of recommendation will have the highest chances for selection.

When is the application deadline ?

Who can enter the "Tell Us About You" Contest?

The "Tell Us About You" contest in open to all members living in the United States. To enter, send us a 100 word essay in MS Word format describing yourself and why you may consider a career in technology. Please include how we may contact you. Send your completed entry to press@femtechies.com. Include "Tell Us About You" in the email subject.

What is the FemTech Business Series?

The FemTech Business Series is an annual three-day conference and seminar training series that is held in the Spring season for our business and professional members. This learning series is geared to update women on careers in technology, trends in technology, and the latest breakthroughs in the industry. Members also have the opportunity to network and participate in learning workshops at different scheduled events during the three-day series.

How do I register?

Simply complete the registration form and send a check or money order to cover registration fees. Fees are outlined in the fees schedule below.
